By 2030, more than one million tons of waste will be generated worldwide from Li-ion batteries alone. Lithium-ion batteries are used in electric vehicles, electronic devices, and energy storage. Today, the solution for handling waste is crushing, which requires energy, significant investments, and complex logistics and is often unprofitable without waste fees. There must be another solution to this! Fortunately, one has already been developed at the University of Tampere.

CeLLife Technologies Ltd is a pioneering deep technology startup specializing in advanced diagnostics, measurement, and quality control for the battery industry. CeLLife has the fastest and most accurate diagnostic technology for measuring, selecting, and balancing new or used battery cells on an industrial scale.

Our company uses a patented, artificial intelligence-based Electrical Fingerprint Platform (EFP), recognised worldwide as the fastest and most accurate technology. This enables fast and accurate analysis of battery cells, modules and systems, providing critical information in seconds. We provide diagnostic services to battery industry stakeholders on a Software as a Service (SaaS) basis, with the aim of supporting electric vehicle battery manufacturers and recyclers to ensure optimal performance and quality control. Our expanding office is located in Tampere.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to be responsible for selling our
measurement technology to global industrial customers. In your role, you will play a
key role in expanding our business into new markets, deepening relationships with
existing customers and developing the company’s sales team into the best in the
industry.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Developing and implementing the sales strategy for our battery measurement solutions
  • Producing sales technical quotation materials, pricing models and marketing materials
  • Identifying and exploiting new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Monitoring and analysing market trends
  • Managing and developing the sales function and sales team

We expect you to have:

  • A proven track record of successfully selling measurement technology to industrial customers
  • Experience of working in the automotive or battery industry in a sales role would be considered a great asset
  • Strong international b to b sales experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English; other language skills would be an advantage (e.g.
  • Swedish and German)
  • Hands-on attitude and ability to seize the opportunity or action
